Remember us? It's Alex and Lizzy (yes, both of us!) and we used to write posts about books in this blog. For some reason, it seems like it has been a while ago...
Well, we finally managed to write!!! Yeey!!
We are about to tell you what books do we want to read since it's Christmas time and all our relatives are asking us what do we want for Christmas and trust us our list is HUGE!!!
Alex:
Well, my list is the big one so I'm not going to tell you all of the books since they are around 32 and most of them are trilogies or series, o I'm just going to mention the ones I'm most excited to get.
To start, I want to read le magnifique Emerald Green by Kerstin Gier, the third book on The Precious Stone trilogy.
Then I'll move on to Anna and the French Kiss and to Lola and the Boy Next Door, both by Stephanie Perkins; The Killables by Gemma Malley; Beautiful Chaos by Kami Garcia and Margaret Sthol; The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Braken; The Selection by Kiera Cass, Legend by Marie Lu, Delirium by Lauren Oliver; and Geek Girl by Holly Smale.
I'm also thinking about starting to read Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and Robert Muchamore's series (I don't know how they're called).
To many books, I know but I just can't help it!! The only problem is the cost.... But Christmas is coming so... :)
Lizzy:
Hello! My list may not be as big as Alex's, but there's an explanation to that. My birthday's in the end of September, and I spent most of the money I was given on books... I know this may seem quite crazy to some of you, but that's how much I love reading. So, let's go on with which books I want to get this Christmas.
First of all, I'd like to get The Infernal Devices, by Cassandra Clare. I now own City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass, City of Fallen Angels and City of Lost Souls, and I loved them so much that I think I might as well love The Infernal Devices.
Secondly, I would love if Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins was under my Christmas tree this year. I've read Anna and the French Kiss and it was very good, one of those books which you easily fall in love with the characters by its simplicity. That said, my expectations for Lola and the Boy Next Door are quite high too.
Then, one book which I've been dying to read is The Fault In Our Stars, by John Green. I've heard so many people say that the book is awesome and so well written that it is something to definitely include on my letter to Santa's.
My last choice isn't a book which I'll ask for Christmas, instead I'll have to read it because of my school's reading programme. I'm quite excited about it though. It is Wuthering Hights by Emily Brontë. People say so many good things about it that I actually can't wait to read it.
And there you have it! Those are the books I want to read this Christmas!
